I went to the show in Boston for the Vertigo tour. Since I had a VIP meet and greet ticket, I was able to get a picture with him and listen to the soundcheck. We didn't really have much time, as there were so many people there, but he was so nice and kind, it actually shocked me. Like, i expected him to be chill, but he was just so nice to me. And all he said was like two sentences to me wtf
We waited like an hour outside the venue again, and when we got inside the venue, the people around me were nice and they weren't really pushing against each other. The opening band was cool too. And when Jon came out (eden), I was so excited !!!!!! His voice sounded great, the music sounded great, the lights were great, literally the only show that I cried at. I didn't want that show to end. After he left, we all shouted encore at the stage for like 7 minutes. AND HE CAME OUT AGAIN
AND GUESS WHAT
HE SANG WAKE UP FOR US
this is the third concert ive ever been to but i had so much fun im just absolutely grateful
The show at Trix Club in Antwerp, Belgium on the 2nd of May 2018 began at 7:30 PM with the Australian group "Crooked Colours" until 8PM and continued with the arrival of EDEN. This time he was on the set with 2 other people, one at the guitare and sometimes synth and the other at the drums and also sometimes synth. Jonathan played the synth, sound pad, guitare and of course used his voice as an instrument.
He sang both songs from his latest Vertigo album and older songs like "Fumes", "Rock + Roll" and others, Crash was one of my favorites.
The lighting in the concert hall was fantastic, during his song "Rock + Roll" there were very unique lighting effects.
I hope to see EDEN again in Belgium next year.
Amazing show, good encore to finish. Kacy Hill started the show off with a great performance, afterwards was a pretty long intermission that lasted more than half an hour before EDEN showed up. There wasn't that much lighting for this show specifically since Truman is a pretty small venue, but they did amazing with what they had. EDEN is a lot more talented then I could imagine! If you're planning on going, the merch is $15 for a poster, $30 for a t-shirt, and $40 for a long-sleeve shirt. Hats are around $25-30.
Loved the lights show. It's auxiliary to the music, but it totally adds to experience and how well I remember the concert. The music itself was incredible. EDEN is so good live; he's really a great singer, and he lets the music speak for itself. Powerful opening that honestly made me cry a bit. Glad for those throwbacks to the previous EPs. Very very very glad I was able to snatch a ticket and see EDEN again (I saw him perform his EPs before). Hope to see more from this artist, and I hope he comes back!
Opening act by Vérité was surprisingly very good. She has an incredible voice and a good stage presents.
The first half of Eden, I have to say was a disappointment. The second half was a different story altogether.
The one thing I can’t ignore is how out of it the crowd was. A little more letting loose would have made the show much better better. If your not gonna dance at a concert then why are you there again?
Show was overall awesome. He sounded really good live. He has an awesome voice. Disappointed he didn’t play XO even though everyone was chanting for it and it’s one of his most popular songs. I also found it bothersome how you never get to see the band. They never shine the lights on them so you don’t really get to see them very well. It’s mostly just a light show. I’d like to be able to see the performers.
Wow. This was easily one of the best concerts I’ve ever been to. It was such a powerful experience. I’ve never felt that way at a show. I’d been listening to Eden for years, and seeing him in person was so amazing. He is so talented and I’m so incredibly thankful that I got to go. The opener, Kacy Hill, was amazing too. She has an amazing voice and she seems very sweet.
AMAZING SET!! Wow lights sound and everything. Even where we were right at the back we still had a good view of the show, got on someone’s shoulders at one point and seeing the size of the crowd was unbelievable as i remember seeing him two years ago with about 250 people. Such an emotional performance, can’t wait to see him again!
BEST CONCERT EVER! I LOVE EDEN SO MUCH IT WAS AMAZING. He is a really good performer and an amazing artist. His new album vertigo is a masterpiece that he weaves together on stage throwing in a few throwback classics like Fumes and End Credits for those of us who have been long time fans. Amazing concert, would pay anything to go again.
EDEN was great. But, I will never go to Irving Plaza ever again. My friend warned me about the wait but I had no idea it would take me an hour wait outside just to go inside and that the line would be four blocks long. I arrived at 7pm! Drinks were also more expensive and pretty small in comparison to Brooklyn Steel or Bowery Ballroom.
