The Donnas are an American band. They are a talented group of ladies from California. They perform rock, hard rock, and garage rock. They all dressed well, if a bit casually, but they made casual look good - they wore colorful long-sleeved tops and a couple of them wore denim skirts, the others wore blue jeans. The venue was a dance club and they really made quite an entrance.
When they began their set, everyone stopped what they were doing and watched The Donnas do their thing. The atmosphere was electric while they performed several high energy rock ballads. Some of the songs in their set that night included "Hey, I'm Gonna Be Your Girl" , "I'm Gonna Make Him Mine (Tonight)", "Everybody's Smoking Cheeba" , and "Do You Wanna Go Out With Me". I loved all of their song choices and my favorite had to be "I'm Gonna Make Him Mine (Tonight)". What a fun and catchy song that was. Everyone around me looked to be having a really great time as well. The Donnas really know how to put on a show and proved to be wonderful entertainers and musicians as well. It was an awesome night, that is for sure.
