Ratt. One of the iconic hair bands of the late 80s and early 90s. They had the genre's typical whiny, high vocals along with the long, hair sprayed hair necessary for whipping violently on the stage. Their pop singles were in your face, loud, and bucking against "the man" and "the system." I loved them growing up and I am pleased to see that they have stood the test of time. Their heavy rock ballads were the back ground music to a lot of people's youth, mine included.
I had the opportunity to see them back in the day at a local rock fest. The venue was completely outdoors, full of tents and campers, and people ready to rock. It was years ago and mullets were still in, there was lots of leather and lots of drinking. People shared anecdotes and alcohol and it became an all inclusive rock fest in the most real fashion. When Ratt took the stage, the front became a mosh pit and the hair was flying everywhere. The kind of energy they gave the crowd, the crowd reciprocated back to the band. It was an awesome experience. Even though I was young, it's nothing I will ever forget.
My wife and I went to Biloxi this last Saturday to see Ratt at the Hard Rock. Stephen Pearcy was spot on. His vocals were crisp, clean and we always knew what song he was singing, we never lost the Melody of any song. The band was entertaining and sounded great. I missed Ratt when I was a kid, the 5 hour drive was worth it!!! Ratt Nation!
Screw all the Haters!
You guys straight up rocked it! I've been a fan since the mid 80s...never got a chance to go to concerts back then, bought tickets in Tampa, FL about 6 years ago, and the remaining tour got canceled due to an injury. BUT, the W. Memphis show was dope!! I'll see yall again, that's a fact!

Very good show. The singer Alan sounded spot on! Played all the hits and very interactive with the audience. We had 7th row so could see the band very well. I would recommend people to go see them
Awesome!! Great!! and was free! the only problem was the presentation was too late. I hope to hear about this band again soon. I also enjoyed Dokken music, I love him too.
