Smoke jets, masked support singers, aging pianos and antiquated costumes all add a gothic creepiness to Fleshgod Apocalypse’s intense sound, but it in no way detracts from the band’s main draw: their music. Just one listen to their songs and you can tell that this band has worked hard to perfect their specific sound and the music they make. In fact, Fleshgod Apocalypse was brave enough to leave their first record label before the release of any major work because they wanted to grow and maintain their artistic integrity as a band.

At a recent show they opened with “The Hypocrissy” and the audience looked like they were about to self-combust; such is the effect of Fleshgod Apocalypse on their fans.
