Verviers

Verviers is a cinematic chamber pop quartet from Springfield, IL that incorporates cello, guitar, oud, percussion, trumpet and samples. We blend our classical backgrounds with folk and modern dreampop into an acoustic post-rock stew. Inspired by the likes of Nick Drake, Dead Can Dance, Cocteau Twins, Bartok, Michael Hedges - think Bach writing a 21st-century spaghetti Western soundtrack.
