Spend a summer afternoon at The Hawth basking in the soaring melodies and musical drama of the Opera. Indulge yourself in a majestic array of operatic classics by Puccini, Verdi and Gershwin, alongside arias performed by renowned soprano Francesca Chiejina. Hailed as “exceptional", Chiejina’s voice has been described as “glinting with beauty” and a “warm, sumptuous tone with plenty of power”. Combined with the expert sounds of the full Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, it will truly be a performance to remember.
‘Francesca Chiejina’s Mimì was the vocal highlight of the evening and a superlative performance in its own right… unerringly precise in intonation and showcasing a remarkable range of colours across the voice… She will surely go from strength-to-strength.’ Opera Wire on La Bohème, 2022
