Shapeshifter

Shapeshifter does exactly what it says on the tin: they will make you shift between shapes! A remarkable blend of soul, jazz and drum and bass which collide together in their live shows to make them totally independent, speical and completely worth seeing. Shapeshifter are a drum and bass group from New Zealand, a group notorious for their kick arse live shows! They've played at some of the biggest stages going. Let me reel some off for you; The Big Chill, Parklife and none other than Glasto! If those Festival names dont ring alarm bells in your head telling you to see Shapeshifter live then you should see a doctor asap- get a pescription for some Shapeshifter tablets and go to one of their shows! They literally bring the house down with their tunes like 'One,' 'Monarch,' and 'In Colour.' A truly outstanding act to see live, a one of a kind drum and bass group.

First of my NZ summer season concerts. Awesome venue with grass tiered ampitheatre in a vineyard setting, cash bar made the line a bit long pay wave bracelets would have been the go. Sunshine sound system started proceedings building the scene while everybody laid back and hydrated with copious amounts of alcoholic refreshments. LAB were next getting a sizable amount of the crowd off there feet with there funky beats. These guys will head there own venue one day they are brilliant. Then on to shapeshifter everybody on there feet dancing and enjoying! I feel for the clean up crew..... Hoorsy for Kiwi summer!
