Funkadelic

I recently had the rare chance to see Funkadelic in concert at the House of Blues in New Orleans, Louisiana. It was one of the most engaging and mesmerizing concert experiences I’ve ever been to.

They were co-headlined by their long time touring and music partners Parliament and George Clinton, which added to the amazing atmosphere and music. Seeing this awesome old-school funk outfit playing truly great music with their psychedelic outfits and exceptional performance was not just a great experience, but a personal transcendental journey through one of the most beautiful encounters in my lifetime. It brought me back to my early days as a teen listening to jams like “Maggot Brain” and “One Nation” in my room and jamming with friends. I found myself in a state of trance as my wife and I stood watching this blast from a not so distant past rock the room.

I would highly recommend their next concert if you enjoy this band, as their live performance is highly amazing. I will be sure to attend their next concert in my area and cannot wait to jam out to Funkadelic once again. I hope that they will be coming to my area soon.
