Wasps Vs Humans will be dropping into Spindizzy at 6pm on Friday October 2nd for an in-store performance & signing to celebrate the release of the new album ''THE DAY HOMO SAPIENS DESTROYED THE EARTH'

Recorded between Dublin and Cork, the album is the culmination of two years of gigging, capturing the raw energy of the live show in a harder, grittier yet more melodic sound. Heavy guitar riffs and thundering beats collide with harmonies, folk influences, whistles and bodhrán — though there’s not a trad song in sight.

At its core, the album is a darkly humorous take on humanity’s seemingly unstoppable pursuit of destroying itself and the planet. It’s doom, death, war and social decay viewed through the WvHs lens: angry, absurd, sarcastic and sometimes painfully close to the bone.
