Seventh Day Slumber

It was good to see this band still going strong. A lot of Christian rock bands come and go but they've managed to keep going. They sound great live so you know there's no studio magic going on when they record their albums. They sound just like the records.They bring real authentic rock music to the stage with a Christian theme.
Some Christian bands sound like they're trying too hard and the music just doesn't come across as being authentic to whatever genre they're playing. But Seventh Day Slumber has a lot of passion and an authentic rock/grunge/metal sound to all of their music.
Their stage presence included lots of smoke and pyrotechnic effects that really made for a great show. The audience was great and we were all definitely into the music and the show. It felt good to rock out with a crowd that had a good sense of limitations, being Christian and all. The lyrics were very inspiring and combined with their great music it made everything come together as a wonderful experience.
If you get a chance check them out! Even if you're not a Christian, it's still great music and a great show.
