Darkswoon

It's somewhat like if Salem and Black Mountain (the eponymous album) had a baby and used Kate Bush as midwife but had JD Samson do the surgery (it was a caesarian birth). Notably, Darkswoon is the best band in the Pacific Northwest, as of this writing, and embody what will surely become the New Portland Sound. Here we have a massive amount of shredding of guitar and bass, glorious vocalizations, and for the synth heads out there: you will meet leviathan at such depths of this melodic, tumultuous bass. You won't regret seeing this band live, that's for sure.
