Music City Roots at Harken Hall is set for May 27 featuring Rhonda Vincent, Hannah Dasher and Crystal Bowersox. These artists bring a signature mix of discovery, storytelling, and unforgettable live performances to the stage.
Grand Ole Opry member Rhonda Vincent has a powerful vocal style which transcends the boundaries of bluegrass as evidenced in her collaboration with Dolly Parton on the Elton John/Bernie Taupin Tribute project “Restoration” in 2018. Her pivotal bluegrass album “Back Home Again” transformed her into the all-American Bluegrass Girl.
A regular on the Grand Ole Opry, Hannah Dasher is a Fender Next artist and a CMT “Next Women of Country Music” recipient. She lives like she looks and her “Honkytonk Graceland” home is a testament this artist is no character. Preserving the best of nostalgic country music and building upon it with a fresh, new sound, Hannah Dasher feels like the big piece of the puzzle that has been missing for a while in country music.
Crystal Bowersox first captured national attention as a finalist on the ninth season of American Idol. Her time on the show proved to be well spent. In 2010, her debut album, Farmer’s Daughter, was released. Since then, she has released three LPs, two EPs, and several singles, and is currently developing a theatrical rock concert titled Trauma Queen.
Music City Roots celebrates great musicians, great acoustics, and the thrill of live performance. The format includes performances along with interviews of each artist. Legendary artist Too Slim from Riders in the Sky will serve as host, Keith Bilbrey will return as announcer and Ranger Doug Green of Riders in the Sky will interview each artist.

Her voice is so pure, and her words Crystal clear.
Her voice matches her beauty, Crystal Bowersox as some may recognise as an American Idol finalist, sounds just as good in person as she did on the home television set. The Ohio born talent is superb and you can hear the reflection of her upbringing in the tone and range of her songs from Country to that of Rock each one of her songs paints a thousand pictures and tells of the tales of those that would otherwise go unnoticed and unheard.
Crystal Bowersox has such an innocent presence on stage, smiling laughing and actually interacting with her audience even go to the lengths of asking whether everybody is alright before singing songs that are aimed at the hearts of many. Singing various songs from her 2010 album 'Farmers daughter' Crystal captivates the audience in such ways, when she plays 'Holy Toledo' you can close your eyes and all your pain, drama and worries will go away in an instant!
Talent like this is not frequent, it is rare. Crystal has a number of songs which show just how talented her range is 'Hold on' expresses a grittier side to Crystal but is accompanied by a melody light enough to carry an audience through heartbreak and hard times!
