Ever wondered what a gig would be like if the producers, promoters and sound engineers were the ones up on stage? Next month’s your chance. We’ve got a one-off lineup – each act worthy of headlining – made up of the people behind some of Glasgow’s best recorded and live music.
This all BBC Introducing-accredited bill joins us for another party with a purpose: a rapturous roar for anti-fascism and resistance to racism on our doorsteps. We work with some of the best breakthrough artists to spread neighbourly love; these nights are about spreading the vibes, not the hate. Four established alternative acts with serious graft in studio recording, live sound and DIY promotion.
Don’t miss it. Early bird tickets are a fiver (when they’re gone, they’re gone), or a tenner after for a stacked lineup.
PVC – Fresh from a Camden headline, surfy indie pop with huge harmonies, sharp hooks and magnetic energy. Check “Lucky Kennels”. FFO: Japanese Breakfast, Bombay Bicycle Club.
Slowlight – A decade deep: twinkling guitars, emo-tinged alt rock and late-night motorway feels. Featuring Beth Black (Girls Rock Glasgow). FFO: Smashing Pumpkins, Foo Fighters.
Telekinephews – Twinkly bliss meets fast, chaotic Glaswegian punk. Technical, hook-heavy and DIY to the core. FFO: Algernon Cadwallader, Ramones.
Teose – Dream pop with fuzzy guitars, big basslines and painfully real songwriting. Built by Melissa Brisbane (King Tut’s, Drygate, Rumshack). Start with “Part II”.
