Alice Wallace

With her angelic voice and charming stage presence, Alice Wallace always delivers a delightful program. Whether with her band or playing solo acoustic as she did last night, Alice fills the venue with her rich vocals. Some singers have to hold the microphone practically in their mouths. Not Alice. She can lean back and wail or modulate into a melodic whisper. She’s also a helluva yodeler. I never miss a chance to hear her in person, and I recommend her three CDs as well.
