Tanita Tikaram

Tanita Tikaram is a German born British pop and folk singer songwriter. She achieved chart success with the singles "Twist in My Sobriety" and "Good Tradition" from her 1988 debut album, Ancient Heart.
She is known for her powerful, husky voice, and poetic and somewhat obscure lyrics and is an amazing artist to see live in concert. Her voice fills the auditorium and it is a majestic experience. I truly love her and think that her concert is one of the best I have ever been to.Her stage set up is pretty simple as it is just her up front and well lit up. If there are any percussion elements or backup singers, they are well removed from the center of the stage.
Tikaram has beautiful brown hair that always complements the beautiful dresses she wears in concert. Her concerts are always sold out and you can usually sway along with the music. Anything heavier is not considered normal at her concerts.
She is known to perform all over Europe, specifically Germany, Switzerland, and Sweden. Tikaram has not performed much in the United States of America, so if you want to see her live (and I would highly suggest you do to experience her beautiful soul and voice) you have to come to Europe.
