Raf, also known as Raffaele Riefoli, is an artist that I went to see even though I am not that familiar with the Italian language. He was warm welcomed to the stage by us with a loud clap and cheer as he brought his large acoustic guitar out and began to stroke the strings with delicate touch. Ouch was the album that was his most recent while he was playing and performing for us. He started out the set with a single from that album named "In tutti i miei giorni". While I did not understand what he was saying, he was kind enough to say thanks after the songs and I had recognized the beat and rhythm to the songs since I had listened to the record. I could tell that Raf enjoyed so many people from the US in attendance at his show. He probably assumed that he was not that well known over here but that is far from the truth. I spoke with a fan that was next to me and he said that he had been listening to Raf for the last 10 years and had all of his albums. Raf bowed at the end of his showed and this showed me that he really respects the fans. The experience taught me that people that come from other countries are always really grateful to come over to the US and perform their music.
