Grand Corps Malade

Poetry at it's finest, spoken word has never been so powerful, so invigorating that it empowers the listener as well as the artist himself!

Fabien Marsaud better known by his stage name of Grand Corps Malade, shows just how fine French musicians are, as this singer songwriter gives a stellar performance!

Taking to the stage the audience had their attention captivated as he performed his poetry piece 'Au Theatre' as the crowd recited it back to GCM word for word with such accuracy, the artist had no other choice but to point the microphone in the direction of the crowd. His face lit up as he realised how influential he had become and how well received he was by this audience. He is truly amazing, I haven't heard anybody quite like him, with such grace and ease as it would seem he is carrying in plenty, everything he said and every action was matching with nothing short of perfection!

Even though the artist speaks in French it was not a problem for the listeners, as great emotion is still carried in tone and GCM had tons and tons of this for us to soak up! It is not hard to understand exactly why all four of his albums have been in the top five in the French charts.

My recommendation to ge and hear Grand Corps Malade is that of the highest!
