The Kilkennys

The Kilkennys were fantastic. The band played a fantastic range of traditional Irish, ballads, folk (including a Scottish song) and their own original material. The level of musicianship was superb, with several changes from bodrahn to drums, from mandolin to tin whistle etc. All members can sing and four part harmonies in The Auld Triangle really were 'hairs on the back of the neck' stuff! The band knee how to work the crowd and what a fantastic crowd in a brilliant venue!
