If you live rousing sing-a-longs, nostalgic 80s rock and a band who give you the sense of connecting with them as people not just a presence on stage then Glass Tiger are the band to check out.
The Canadian rock outfit are veteran performers; having been honing their live shows for over 30 years. As such Glass Tiger have developed quite the stage presence which has given them a strong reputation. This is probably the reason that when you see them live the room is always packed out, even after three decades.
They don’t bound around the stage like many of the younger rock bands, some of which they share a stage with at festivals, but whilst their stage presence might not be quite as energetic as it once may have been they still know how to get the best out of their audience.
Almost every song includes some kind of audience participation; whether it’s the entire congregation on their feet clapping in time of the chilling moments where the band stop playing as a room full of fans sing back to them.
The space between songs is often filled with personal anecdotes from the band which really gives you a feeling of connection between yourself and the band.
This is part of the reason why Glass Tiger are still popular to this day. Their personal connection to their fans is something that a lot of newer bands severely lack and why some don’t manage to stick around as long as their musical ability suggests they should.
Tour dates may no longer be at a premium for Glass Tiger but you can be sure that when they do hit the stage you will be in for a real treat.
