Lil G, Surface, Kut Klose, and Miki Howard

Miki Howard is incredible. She is beautiful and still has the amazing voice that many came to love in the 80's. Her recent show at the Catalina Bar and Grill Jazz Club was stunning. She did a Tribute to Billy Holliday singing many of Lady Day's more popular tunes. Ms. Howard's rendition of My Man and God Bless the Child were wonderful. Unfortunately, she did not sing more of her own repertoire. She brought a number of audience members on stage to join her singing Love Under New Management. What a treat for the participants. This was the ONLY one of her songs that she performed that night. It was a bit disappointing to not hear her sing Come Share My Love, Baby Be Mine or Until You Come Back To Me. Nonetheless, it was a very enjoyable show. I look forward to seeing Miki Howard again when she is performing in Los Angeles.
