There are so many great new bands in Glasgow right now and Stereo was rammed for this sold out gig headlined by Gallus. More of them in a minute.
The Vanities kicked off proceedings with their blend of punk. It's the third time I've seen them in the last 2 months and they are better with every show.
Freakwave are fresh from supporting Glasvegas at the Barrowlands in December. They have a big sound mixing atmospheric sonics and grunge.
Sway are a band that are getting better with every release and are even better live. They have also released their first 4 singles as a limited edition vinyl EP. If you don't have a turntable then go get one - it's that good.
Gallus have a reputation as a great live band and rightly so. They have a vitality about them, clearly love what their doing, have earworm / hook filled songs, and the crowd / band drive each other a chaotic energy. Their gigs are brilliant and this one was on of their best. If you like energetic gigs then go see them.
A brilliant night and well done to the promoter Good / Careful for a great show.
