Mis-Teeq

So, so, so, so, scandalous.' It does not seem like 10 years since this was a phrase you would hear played on the radio, in bars, at work, when Mis-Teeq were in their prime. The R&B girls from London saw a few lineup changes over their stint in the spotlight but these never effected their performance.
I am compelled to write this review, although it was many years ago that I saw them perform live, but it really was a performance to remember. As they ran onto the arena stage, the group radiated a wonderful energy of excitable school girls, whilst maintaining their integrity. After their first couple of tracks, the girls were keen to involve the audience with their show, and began holding the microphone to the crowd whilst singing their most famous songs, such a smash hit 'All I Want'. The crowd were getting incredibly involved, and most of us didn't stop dancing from start to finish. The highlight though, has to be when Alesha Dixon walked through the crowd, greeting excited fans, whilst the other girls continued playing.
The set was supposed to be 90 minutes, but the full 120 minutes was more than we hoped for, and it blew us away. Their capabilities to maintain such a high standard of performance throughout was astounding whilst dancing and singing so intensely. As well as the performance from the band, the visuals and sounds were fantastic, putting the icing on the cake of a wonderful night. If the girls were ever to reform or perform together again, I would be straight back. Absolutely fantastic live performance.
