Nineteen Bay Area musicians/songwriters are once again meeting the moment with their voices to help raise funds for both the American Civil Liberties Union and the Peace & Justice Center of Sonoma County. As so many of American citizen's constitutional rights are being challenged, Bay Area songwriter Deborah Crooks has organized another fundraiser featuring 19 women-lend musical. The number 19 references the 19th Amendment which famously gave women the right to vote in 1920.
The show will feature performances by a who’s-who of Sonoma County and Greater Bay Area-based songwriters and musicians including Audio Angel, Brightdarkdawn, Deborah Crooks, Marina Crouse, Roberta Donnay, Aireene Espiritu, Anna Jae, Ellie James, Cecila Long, Megan McLaughlin, Amy Obenski, Sara Rodenburg, Zoe Sameth, Stephanie Siehr, Callie Watts and more tba. Mindi Levine, aka ‘Mindi in the Morning,’ from The KRUSH FM, will serve as emcee.
