Jan Dulles, Jaap Kwakman and Jan de Witte are the three men that make of the three “J” in the Dutch pop band 3JS. The three have known each other for quite some time (since 1996), and have been making music together since 2002, gaining widespread popularity in their home country of the Netherlands.
Because I do not speak Dutch, I don’t actually know what the MC was saying before introducing the band, but it seemed to get the crowd really excited, because they started to cheer until the band came on stage; which really just resulted in the cheering becoming louder in volume. Right from the get go, they are a bit swoon worthy, with very easygoing personalities. Two armed with guitars and the lead vocalist, they begin to play their songs. Half of their songs are in English and the other half are in Dutch, but regardless of what language all the songs are great, especially with the excitement that you only get from a live show. The chemistry between them are like watching brothers just jamming together, that’s how close they seem, and it really comes across when they play. They also exchange a bit of banter both with each other as well as with the audience.
