Gala

The electro pop singer/songwriter Gala blew everyone away with her incredible performance. The show opened with some crazy lights and smoke machine over a pre recorded voice that shouted out ‘yeah she’s fine, she’s Italian, she’s multi-talented, it’s Gala’. She launched straight into her single Come into My Life, which had everyone singing along right away with ‘come, come, come into my life’. Her dancing around the stage was phenomenal, doing double pirouettes whilst singing and keeping her voice strong and balanced.
After her opening song she introduced her band backing her on drums, guitar, and synth, before continuing with her awesome set. She shocked everyone, I think even her band, by jumping down off of the stage and making her way right to the middle of the room to sing her song Tough Love. She made us form a circle around her whilst she jammed the song out, and she did some great dance moves whilst she was there too.
She shouted out and took requests for songs frequently, so there wasn’t really any continuity between the songs, but it was great all the same, and I love how she was clearly keen to get everyone on board with her show.
