I can say with certainty that Fenix TX is one of my favorite, underrated artists. They're a blend of old punk, new rock, and with a bit of ska mixed in.
Their live shows are no different, with moshing and jumping and the occasional off limits drinking. These guys are talented enough to put on an amazing show but humble and a small enough band to still be able to hang out with the crowd after every show.
I usually see them open for a larger band or in a local smaller venue on their own, and either way they will always hang out at the backstage entrance to greet their fans and sign autographs.
I prefer their local shows to when they're opening for a larger crowd, because they feel a lot more natural, and obviously their set lists are longer. I have yet to see them for a CD release but they will usually play a setlist consisting of 2-3 of their new songs, but mostly old singles or favorited tracks from previous albums. Even if they're not my favorite songs from them, they're always still nice to listen to live over a recording, even when I use FLAC to listen to them.
